The Centre for Supply Chain Management (SMC), located within the School of Business & Economics (SBE), has the primary function of facilitating and coordinating research in supply chain management. The Centre ensures regular and useful communication between researchers and practitioners including strategic decision makers in supply chain management. The purpose of each communication (seminars/conferences/roundtable) is to ensure that relevant topics are well researched and the researched findings are disseminated in timely fashion to those who can use them. Related activities of the Centre include assisting in the development of educations materials (BBA/MBA/PhD levels) and training initiatives with the Laurier community.
