Welcome to the Office of the Vice-President: Finance and Administration.

Jim Butler, Vice-President: Finance & Administration

The Vice-President: Finance and Administration is responsible for finance, human resources, physical resources, community safety and security and for a number of ancillary services.

The Vice-President is a resource for the Board of Governors, Senate and all supporting Committees such as:

  • Alcohol on Campus
  • Audit and Compliance Committee of the Board of Governors
  • Buildings and Properties Committee of the Board of Governors
  • Finance and Investment Committee of the Board of Governors
  • Investment Oversight Committee of the Finance and Investment Committe 
  • Pension Committee of the Board of Governors
  • Senate Finance Committee
  • Community Safety and Security
  • Council Non-Tuition Protocol Committee

Wayne Steffler, Assistant-Vice-President: Administration

The Assistant Vice-President: Administration provides high level support to the Vice-President: Finance and Administration. The AVP plays a lead role in the administration/coordination of activities within the Finance and Administration division, particularly as they relate to policies, procedures, and reports for the consideration of University-wide bodies, including the Board of Governors and various Board committees. The position is also responsible for the following Ancillaries Services:

Bookstore/Retail Services

Printing/Document Solutions

Parking/Transportation

Procurement Services
